1/4 cup Olive Oil
2 TBSP Shea Butter
2 TBSP Emulsifying Wax
1 cup of distilled water
1/2 tsp Neo Defend
30 drops Peppermint Essential Oil
15 drops Tea Tree Essential Oil
How To Make :
Combine shea butter, olive oil and emulsifying wax in a glass bowl placed in a pot of water.
Place on stove and turn heat to medium.
In another pot with water, place another glass bowl with distilled water and neodefend.
Heat on stove on medium heat.
Heat both bowls until your ingredients are melted and both bowls are the same temperature-this should be anywhere from 100-130 degrees.
Once you hit the right temperature, pour your water mixture into your oil/butter/wax mixture.
Use a hand held mixer to blend the mixtures. Blend for 1 minute.
Continue to periodically use your mixer until you see that the water is no longer separating from the oil/butter/wax mixture.
After the mixture cool down a bit, Add the essential oils.
Before your mixture gets too thick, transfer to a pump bottle or a jar.
This recipe makes about 12 ounces. It can take up to 48 hours for the cream to thicken up. Do not speed the cooling process by putting it in the fridge-this will ruin your cream!
Apply thist cream every night before bed. For added benefits, apply it and then put socks on once it’s soaked in a bit, to help further seal in the moisture. You can also use a spa socks. Using a foot file during your shower before you apply the cream will put healing into overdrive! You’ll see HUGE benefits after just one application!
