Some extra tips to care for leather and synthetic bags:
1. Handle leather handbags with clean hands.
Leather can easily absorb grease and oils. Wipe the surface with a damp white cotton cloth, but be careful not to use too much water, because leather takes time to dry.
2. Apply a cleaner especially made for leather.
Use leather cleaner (ask us for our product) Apply it in a circular motion and wiped off with a slightly damp cloth so as not to clog the pores of the fabric. You can also use leather soap one or two times a year to keep your leather handbag clean.
3. Moisturize your bag with a leather conditioner to keep it supple.
Use Leather conditioner; apply it after you wear it. Do not use a conditioner on patent leather.
4. Remove stains as soon as you notice them.
Organic stains from food or blood can often be removed with chalk powder. Crush white chalk, let it sit on the stain overnight and dust it off with a clean cloth.
1. Do not exposed to sunlight
Do not let the bag exposed to sunlight or any heat too long as it might cause discoloration.
2. Keep it dry
When the bag gets wet, wipe immediately with a soft cloth so it won’t leave the water mark. If there is ink mark on the bag, wipe it with essential oil (do not forget to use soft cloth) until the mark is gone.
3. Store it properly
Before storing the bag:
Make sure the bag is clean and dry (also check the inside)
Put the bag into the dust bag
Use silica gel packets to absorb moisture from the atmosphere so the dryness can be prolonged.
Put the bag in the storage with low level of humidity.
4. Air it
Once a while, take the bag from the storage and check the condition of the bag. If there are molds, wipe it with a wet cloth till the molds are gone then dry it. Air it so it won’t catch any molds.
